Development Log #2: Prototype & First Song
Hello and welcome to our second devlog~!
This time we'll be posting some screenshots of our progress with the prototype, like we mentioned in our previous devlog (although the "tomorrow" part may not have been entirely accurate... >->). To make up for the delay, we'll also show you a screenshot straight from FL Studio that shows our sound designer's progress with the game theme together with a nice little comment and song demo for you to listen to!
We hope you enjoy the screenshots and the song! More will come next week, or so I hope xd.

Prototype :O
Dev Comment: As a prototype, you may think there's toooo much visual things on, but for a simple gameplay like an endless runner actually is, I decided to add some stuff that may be useful in the future, like the re-use of the environment assets, and the background that moves along with the player (oh gosh, you wouldn't believe how hard this was to implement).
Song~!
Dev Comment: It was great to make the first song in the game. I was thinking about the songs I would take as a reference, so the first one that came to mind... was Darude Sandstorm. I said "that's what I'm going to do" lol. I used the amem break style drum loop and put on a melody with a futuristic vibe in the song. As my first song for the game, I found it very cool and enjoyable.
The song can be found here!
